Canoe Materials How Do I Repair A Canoe?

How do I repair a canoe? - canoe materials

I have a canoe Galyani's Woodsman II It is essentially made of plastic, and I have to build two sections. I think I need a plate or plates made of fiberglass, but I want to make sure that my repairs will continue. Basically, the plastic is worn by the fire on the rocks. Can anyone recommend that the documents that I do, that this problem solved?

These boats policeman is not easy and inexpensive to repair. I had a couple of canoes and Coleman ended with the clear tape re-examine a small jump. The repair material is recommended rather more expensive than a cheap used boat.

Repairing interior and exterior and interior use some silicone sealant around the hole where the stamp will be the type of fiber on a silicon patch if it is dry, you must define and stronger.

It is probably a connection Royalex ABS. Polyester resin sticks to no good. I do not know if the epoxy will do, either. There is a special Royalex repair putty, which can be used with fiberglass repairs.
